"We had an amazing time - the location is great for bike or bus trips to nearby towns, and the commute into Amsterdam is really easy. The family is wonderful and being on the canal was really nice and relaxing. Would highly recommend this stay!!"

"We were excited about booking this property when reading the posting. When we arrived later in the evening we found the only way to the front door was crossing a rickety, rotted out deck with nails sticking up all over. The strong odor of musty/mold greeted us when we opened the door. Host told us to just open some windows. Then we found there was a ladder type stairs to go up to the sleeping area. "Nice and quiet hotel. Room was nice and clean. Staff were helpful. We were able to check in early. The shower room was very open so it got all wet after one person took a shower. Also, hotel does not offer paper towel and paper tissues in the room. "

"The July is a comfortable, clean, modern hotel in a quiet residential section of town. The hotel restaurant is good. Outside seating options make for a pleasant meal or cocktail. The staff is polite and attentive. Getting to and from the hotel to sights and restaurants is always a taxi or Uber. Nothing is within walking distance. Expect $15 to $20 for each ride by Uber. Taxis are mych more and should be avoided. "
