"Beautiful hotel in a very convenient location. The rooms are a great size with a very comfortable bed and a nice balcony. The bathroom is a good size too too with a lovely walk in shower: Very nice breakfast too with plenty of options and fresh food! Staff are very attentive and friendly. The pool area is gorgeous. Loads of sun loungers available and loads of space so you’re not on top of each other. It’s also right across the little path from the beach which is fabulous too. The only downside at the moment is the construction that’s happening nearby which can get a bit noisy during the day ..we’ll definitely stay here again and 100% recommend this hotel! "

"Absolutely beautiful property. Amazing views of the city!I was amazed how it was so perfectly annexed in the old city of faro, yet the property was so modern and relaxing. The spa room was amazing, and the drinks from the bar were as well. I will definitely stay here again if visiting Portugal, it's a nice way to step foot into what the South of Portugal has to offer. The staff are extremely nice and easy to engage in genuine conversation."

"The hotel is AMAZING so are the staff!! The room had a beautiful view of the ocean and pool. The swallows were so cute flying around the greenery. The pool was great! Every 2 chairs had an umbrella. We went down to the beach but you have to reserve chairs and pay for them which we didn’t not so we sat on the sand for a little while. They have 4 restaurants which we only went to 2 we had buffet breakfast that had a lot to choose from and. Are at the Italian restaurant 2x food is excellent and Rita is the sweetest! All in all it’s ***** Much needed beach relax after site seeing Lisbon and Porto"

"The staff was wonderful, as was the restaurant food and the facilities. Of all the locations at which my wife and I stayed during three weeks in Europe, the Dom Jose was the cleanest and most comfortable. Rui, who worked the front desk, was great, as were all of the staff. The only complaint was that there was no on-site parking, which meant paid parking near the beach or parking a distance from the hotel. Otherwise, we'd visit again."

"The hotel is conveniently set by the harbour and within easy walking distance to the old town, shops, bars and restaurants. The hotel itself is super clean, friendly staff and offering a lovely rooftop bar for the perfect sunset views. Good breakfast buffet accompanied by a piano player, rooms cleaned daily, we will definitely by returning. "
