"Our experience was perplexing from the start, with directions so inadequate that we had to ask the way. When we arrived I was attacked by geese at large in the grounds. Despite profuse apologies from the owner's wife, and the geese then confined to a wired pen, the owner said he wouldn't be lectured, walking away when I offered some advice on the facilities. "Lovely hotel with beautiful rooms and accommodations. The room and bathroom were extremely large and beautifully appointed. We ate at the restaurant one evening and the food and ambiance was great. We will definitely stay here again when we return!"

The addition of the Dyson hairdryer and ghd straighteners is an amazing touch to the rooms. The food in the diner was lovely too. And nothing feels like too much trouble for the team on site"

"We booked the hotel as we were attending a wedding nearby. When we arrived we went to the lounge for tea. I was in awe of the two ladies on the reception/bar. They were probably doing the job of 4 people and nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean and we had a great couple of nights sleep! If we ever need to stay in the area again I would gladly return."
