"An absolute joy. We arrived a bit early and sat by the pool until the owners arrived. They were extremely friendly and welcoming. Our bedroom and the bathroom were perfect. We made use of the bath and shower. Plenty of hot water. The property is situated in beautiful quiet surroundings and we made use of the lovely swimming pool. "Salvador is a great host and very helpful. We really enjoyed our short stay. We stayed during a heatwave so the room was fairly warm in spite of Salvador's efforts to cook it down. But, he is working in improving that. And to be fair, the weather was exceptionally hot! The pool is excellent and certainly made to for it. "

"Marleen and Raf were the perfect hosts. Anything we needed, booking restaurants, advice on places to visit, they did all this graciously. The property was exceptionally clean, the pool was spacious with plenty of sun beds, umbrellas and a lovely shaded pagoda area with further seating. Within the property, the shower needs some attention, the jets don't work, the seals are coming off and the water is not draining properly. "A very well-appointed property which catered very well for our extended family of 9, ages ranging from 1 to 75. There was ample space for us not to be under each others' feet and enough bathrooms for each family (and a teenage granddaughter!). The outdoor facilities were excellent including the summer kitchen/ barbecue area, the variety of games equipment and (especially) the fabulous swimming pool.There is ample shade around the property for those extremely hot southern French days.Access to the mountains is very easy and they can be seen clearly from the surrounding area.The hosts, Mary-Jo and John are excellent and helpful without being intrusive.As a very rural area car is, of course essential, and shops are a 1- - 15 minute drive away; the baker in St Marcet is, however, worth the morning drive for excellent bread and pastries!.We strongly recommend Chateau Floran"
