Great for The Masters!
The house was exactly as pictured. Very clean and it was clear the owners put love into this eclectic home.
We went to The Masters on Sunday. We left the house at 0600 and were in the parking lot of Augusta National in EIGHT minutes!! Same when we left the tournament. Took us 10 min to get back to the house. There’s a lovely backyard to hang out in as well, and the neighborhood was quiet
Mobility Alert - the only potential drawback with the house is it sits atop a steep hill / driveway. (Like parking brake steep). My Dad and I have moderate mobility issues and the driveway was difficult for us. Although we loved that the garage is empty so we were able to pull in there (where it’s obviously flat) and it felt really safe having the car in the garage overnight.
There’s a nice bedroom on the first floor which was super helpful for my Dad. Like the driveway, the stairs to the second floor were also a bit challenging. The stairwell is again steep, and the steps aren’t very deep. If you’re able bodied it’s nothing. I don’t think you’d even notice.
It’s an older house that has been given thoughtful upgrades, and nice touches like a Keurig with a selection of coffee. It was a great nesting place for going to The Masters!
