"Stayed for a few days while visiting family. The place was spotless and comfortable. Tina was very responsive to questions I had. When I arrived I noticed there was not a drip coffee maker. There was a keurig, a kettle and also a french press which given that I like ground coffee would work fine. After mentioning this to Tina, the next day a new drip coffee maker arrived. Would rent again"

"The cottage was cute and had what we needed. The listing could indicate that it has a pod only coffee maker as we were not prepared with pods. Could have been cleaner as well. Carpet not vacuumed, several dishes not clean etc"

"Loved this place. Great location and it was a very quiet space (though I did go and off-season at the beginning of May). Stove and microwave took some getting used to, and I didn’t use the oven, but the kitchen was great. It’s a small space, and the loft is open to the living area so it’s best for a couple that goes to bed at the same time or someone traveling solo. Wish they had a fire pit, but the space was great."

"Very cute spot! Lake was beautiful. Close for Ubering to and from Salem which is why we were there. There seemed to be a miscommunication on allowing us to check in early, however, bc when we arrived dirty towels were still in a pile on the bathroom and the bed sheets were used. Not a huge deal, we stripped the bed ourselves and added new sheets and cleaning crew came around 45 minutes before “normal” check in and did the rest. "A lot to like about this cottage - very close to beach, on a quiet dead end laneway, all new kitchen, very clean, good outdoor space with comfortable seating, grill, umbrellas, patio lights, good communication with owner. The only downside is that it's really small inside with a steep low ceilinged staircase. We were all over 65 and feared falling on it, even the shortest hit their head on one part of the ceiling! "We really enjoyed our time on Plum Island. It's a cute little beach community and the cottage is a short walk from the ocean. We played games, did a puzzle, relaxed on the porches at our vacation cottage. We did day trips to Boston, Rhode Island and Portland. Nearby Newburyport was really neat and fun to explore as well.
