"The room was very spacious and clean. The staff were also really nice and even did a wash load of clothes for us for $10. There was an appropriately sized television, toiletries, and unlimited tea and coffee by a kettle. in terms of the area it was down a street with rats, although there was rats everywhere in Colombo. "this is a small hotel but needs to improve on maintenance big time. Dining hall greets you as you enter the hotel and its full of flies and bad smell, probably from the garbage room beside elevator. took a peek in the kitchen and its filthy. linens are stained and dirty linens lying around everywhere in the corridor. If they can maintain it well, this could be an excellent budget hotel."

"Although owner was very friendly helpful, I found the beds in the room very uncomfortable - really hard mattress and pillows and barely slept both nights so checked out early. The water pressure and lighting in the bathroom was very poor so struggled with brushing teeth and shower."

"We came here straight from a long flight from the UK and had 3 nights with our 3 children age 6, 8 and 11... And it was incredible! I wish we could have stayed here longer and as soon as we were there, we stated to think about when we could come back! There was so much space in the villa, the kids loved the pool, the beach was epic and so quiet.... And the care and attention of he staff, chef and security is on another level! "Beautiful hotel, with a lovely, basic clean room. Comfortable bed and roomy shower. Had a balcony overlooking a roof, but would have been nice to sit outside there if it wasn't continuously raining. Great included breakfast, with lots of choice and lovely serving staff. Did not use any of the other amenities, but the outdoor area would have been nice to use if the weather was more obliging."
