I would definitely recommend going to the St. Regis for drinks and sit by the big fire. would NOT recommend going to The Little Nell - I felt like I was back in Los Angeles...why would I want that in the mountains?

"The property is under construction at the moment and that is the only reason for the 4 stars for property; otherwise, this is a great place to stay! The pool and hot tub are under construction so they gave us a pass at the rec center down the road. Area is beautiful and safe."

"Amazing stay we loved the entire property and it was nice being off the beaten path of the main streets. For new parents having a full kitchen and separate room was ideal for us and allowed us all to enjoy our stay! We will be back!"

Very costly and unless you have a substantial budget, would not recommend for families. Also, even the locals are upset with the overgrowth and commercialization of what once was a quaint town. EVERYTHING is monetized, right down to parking.
