Warm and colorful unit filled with Mexican folkart. Stunning gardens with private areas and a pond for swimming. Short walk to town for theater, arts, 72-acre Lithia Park, shopping and restaurants.
Feel the welcoming warmth of the hand-crafted Mexican decor. Basement unit but with lots of windows and light. (3 beams at 6"1") Kitchen, with top of the line induction burner, fridge, microwave..., full bath, W/Dryer, work area... Wi-fi. Private off-street parking.

The Space
The Mexico Apartment is a basement unit so you must be able to walk down the stairs to enter. It is a comfortable space filled with light at an affordable price from which you can make your forays into town for theater (The Oregon Shakespeare Festival), art, shopping and dining. And use it as a base from which to explore the many local hiking trails, biking trails and ski trails in and around Ashland. Also enjoy our newly updated Japanese Garden located in Lithia Park and in the Winter- ice-skating! Plus we have three locally owned fabulous book stores.

We walked to town everyday for activities - great location :) Apartment space is lovely, and the surrounding property is beautiful as well. Nadine and Dave were wonderful hosts!

Cheerful, bright, cool stay in hot summer.
The Mexican Apartment was a lovely retreat during this summer’s unusual heat. It is close to the Shakespeare theatres, to coffee shops, restaurants. The Frida Kahlo decor we loved. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Dave assisted us with our bags, noting my husband’s bad knee.

Our hosts were superior with information, friendliness, courtesy and comfort. The surrounding gardens and small pool are incredibly beautiful. We felt very welcomed and our hosts were so helpful and courteous. The apartment was neat, clean and A wonderful experience, and we would highly recommend it.
