"Facilities were great "

"The staff, and locals made me feel so welcome. I stayed overnight for business and was perfect. As a single female I was doubtful, but wow I was blown away with the kindness of all. Room was spacious, comfy bed, bedroom and bathroom was spotless. I would definitely stay again. Car park is safe. They are also dog friendly which in my eyes is 10 out of 10. The food arrived piping hot, and home cooked. "

"The property did provide limited car parking which was useful. Maybe next time though I should read the entry better as this isnt a Bed and Breakfast (B&B as stated clearly in the title). They no longer provide breakfasts which was slightly inconvenient especially as there was no kettle in the room. "

"Lovely place to stay the night before our trip to Alton towers. Spotlessly clean, comfortable room. The hosts were so lovely and friendly. Breakfast was absolutely superb, especially the fresh eggs straight from their own chickens! We also had a little wonder around the garden and the whole place is so tidy and well cared for, it’s a pleasure to spend time there. We will definitely stay again. Very reasonable price too, great value for money. "

"Susan is an excellent host. Unobtrusive, but there when needed and nothing is too much trouble. She also provides an excellent and varied breakfast. Although in the middle of the village, the property is private and secure. Our room was comfortable and lacked nothing. It was also warm as the temperature dropped below freezing outside. "The pillow cases and duvet covers smell so bad. Nobody cares if you are sleeping or not because someone was playing music at 1am and there is another guy making calls and running up and down the house 2am. "

"I cannot recommend Marehay hall Farm and host Sharon highly enough. All of the the positive descriptions reviewing a B&B apply here. Whatever your expectations are they will surely be met and exceeded. If you are looking for a quiet oasis to relax and retreat from the hustle of daily life, this is it. The gardens are work in progress and offer the potential to make this a much saught after retreat location. Would we come back. Without a doubt! "

"Superb place to stay if you’re going to Rock City. It’s literally next door. Great staff and a little shop of sorts selling snacks and juices to take to your room. A mean to cup coffee machine and pastry in the morning is a great touch. "
