"We arrived and couldn’t enter the property as the gate was closed and no answer on the intercom. Eventually someone drove out and we managed to enter. In reception there was no one available, we tried to call the hotel and got no answer. After searching the building and grounds there was no one at all on site. We couldn’t check in and had no choice but to leave and find an alternative accommodation at 9pm with 2 children. "

"Authentically French, though owned by chatty Americans; the room (the green room) was spacious with very high ceilings and a quaint bathroom attached. The bed was very hard, but large, with lights and sockets each side. No USB charging, but the wifi was sufficient to watch a movie on my laptop one night. (No in-room TV). Breakfast was croissant and bread. Easy reach from Dieppe, but felt in the middle of nowhere."
