Michael was a great host, and having made sure we were comfortably settled left us to enjoy the peace and tranquility that this part of the world offers. Saw the otter at the end of the pier on our first day and loved watching the Oyster Catchers at work on the beach. We will definitely be back."

"Das Haus war sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Garten ist wirklich schön. Leider war das Geschirr nicht so sauber an einigen Tassen, Tellern und Schüsseln waren Essensreste. Aber haben wir dank der Spülmaschine schnell beseitigt. Ein Staubsauger wäre optimal, für zwischendurch. Der Blick auf den See ist perfekt, allerdings das Haus liegt es auch direkt an einer sehr befahrenen Hauptstraße und das Schlafzimmer an der Straße ist was für Frühaufsteher!!!!! Fazit: ok und Invarary ist wirklich nett."

"The cottage was very large ,with 4 bathrooms the bedrooms were large and comfortable the only downside was the lack of wardrobes in all bedrooms and we found the television very small for the size of the lounge. I know you don't go to watch television but when the weather is not to good and you have small children you need somethig of a decent size to watch . "Particularly enjoyed the spaciousness and comfort of the accommodation. The maps for walks in and around the estate were an unexpected bonus, which was taken full advantage of. A surprising coincidental connection to the estate owner. The flapjacks were the best we'd ever tasted (recipe?)! "We arrived in the dark and took a minute to realise that the cottage was up a short path. Once in we found it warm and welcoming with lots of homely touches. Everything we needed was there. I was an excellent base from which to explore the local area with superb, less visited hills nearby."
