Great little place to stay
"It was everything we needed for a weekend stay! The inside was cute and we had all the kitchen supplies to make our own meals. Only cons: The adjoining neighbors porch was unkept. The yard needed mowed with trash in it. (I imagine that blew over from the neighbor's side.) The bunk bed was different ..."

"I came with two friends to shop and experience Amish Country. The house was perfect. We ate breakfast there both mornings and had aupper there in evenings. Walked to main street both days and loved all the shops. Drove out in the country, ate at Yoder’s, shopped at the Bulk market, took a buggy ride. ..."

Southern Illinois is interesting. Lots of farms and very rural. Lots of Dairy Queens lol a plus, in my opinion. But overall, felt intense. A lot of white people staring and not in a friendly or even curious way. Felt watched and judged.
