"We only stayed here for one night, but everyone in my group agreed that we would love to spend a week here. The property is situated in a peaceful, rural environment that is a short walk to the beach and still relatively close to neapolis, a bigger town. The room was thoughtfully furnished and decorated and the host was very attentive. Our balcony had beautiful views of the mountains and the sea! Perfect place to unwind and experience the Greek countryside. "

"This hotel is one of the best hotels that we stayed in Greece in terms of its excellent customer service, facilities, comfortable room with a huge balcony overlooking the sea as well a beautiful view of the Monemvasia island where the old town is. We were warmly welcomed by Yannis, the hotel manager who helped us with our luggage and showed us to our room. He gave us dining options both in the old town as well as those in the new town. Its sea water swimming pool has a pool bar and many deck chairs and has the same gorgeous view. The jacuzzi too has the same picturesque sea view. Breakfast was excellent."

"Our room was large and comfortable, with 3 levels: one for the bedroom, one for the living area, and one for the bathroom. (This is a hilly area and the buildings are original, so the multi-levels are to be expected.) There was a small kitchenette with a refrigerator, sink, and kettle. We had our own seating area outside our room but did not use it. Instead, we enjoyed the terrace with a view of the water."

"Terrific hotel in Gythio. Check in was fast and professional English spoken. Our room was very nice with a soccer field sized balcony and furniture. The room was spacious with a very comfortable king bed. Bath had a deep soaking tub and modern fixtures. Breakfast was wholesome and fresh but the offerings did not change over our 3 night stay. Great coffee and orange juice too. Eggs, omelets and meats/cheeses on offer with some pastries as well. Staff were all very charming and we agreed returning on another trip. Thx Pantheon."

"Super location on the island! The room was very nice and a bottle of wine was left for us. The host was fabulous. He went out of his way to help us with the wi-fi, directions, and other items. Definitely recommend this lodging. "

"A hotel worth much more than two stars I would rate it at least three if not four stars The staff is lovely, Shontei, Hargiro, Nina, (I hope I wrote the names correctly) take care of you as a guest so that you will simply have a good time. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the hotel staff is quick to fix any problem. The view from the quiet private balcony is stunning in its beauty, the proximity to the most beautiful beach in the area, a 2-minute walk away, is worth it all. Coffee is free throughout the day and night, and even a basket of fresh fruit is available for her, if you are craving sweet fruit. The breakfast buffet is rich and luxurious. It's worth it to celebrate my birthday at Iris beach hotel. All was good."

The property is not new and there was some smell of old wood in the room. I hoped to use the fireplace as it was cold outside but they didn’t have wood, so it was disappointing. "
