"We have a heat wave here , someone hid the remote control for the AC so we spent the night sweating and the pillows are terrible ..We came back late at night so no more staff was impossible to ask where was the remote control for the AC ( was under a blanket in the closet) when i told that to the staff in the morning the answer was " Ah bon " horrific night .."

"Really enjoyed our stay - the pod was excellent (air con very welcome) the staff on site were very helpful and the location was great Touet is lovely - the river beautiful (but very strong current) close to train for trips to Entrevaux (a must see) local bars etc walkable Food at the campsite was very good and great value "

"These folks are busy and Vincente still makes a very nice breakfast. The pizza at the truck down the road is a great option for dinner on the terrace. Check out the unusual goats next door and the Spar market has WARM baguettes in the morning across the street. Ask for “Une baguette, s’il vous plait” and enjoy! This lodge was MUCH further than I expected on extremely windy roads from Cannes and through Grasse but it was beautiful. The Val du Saint Thierry has a great farmer’s market on Sunday morning."

"This auberge is situated in the centre of Castellane, with a river at the rear that you can swim in. The breakfast was varied and there was plenty of it, lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. There is a large rear shaded terrace which was quiet snd you could relax have a drink. Castellane has a friendly, busy but relaxed vibe, plenty to see and do. I would definitely stay again. Ask for a room on the rear so that it is hidden from the buzz of the square. "

"We stayed two nights to see the gorges. It was wonderful. The facility is lovely….well laid out….great hot tub/pool….and the view from our room was beautiful. The Gorges du Verdon is a gem…..be sure to drive the loop and then the long way round….stunning."

"Clean and tidy. Really helpful on reception and polite. The only thing i would say is it needs to be made clearly at the time of booking regarding charge for sheets and towels. Got email after booking regarding this. Was comfortable stay and quiet "

"Enjoyed dinner & breakfast at the restaurant that belongs to hotel. Good quality meals. Extraordinarily polite & friendly staff! The only drawback : this tiny village is far away from any other places. "
