"The staff here are fantastic! I swear some of them must work 24 hour days as they are always there an available. They are quick with a smile and assistance, even in English, which was limited on the island. They were helpful in arranging transport and laundry as well as just checking in. The room was spacious, impeccably clean and the balcony was a real treat with views of the ocean and a warm breeze. I chose not to have daily service on my room, just occasional. I liked having a choice. Included breakfast had lots of options, some consistent and some that changed day to day. The crepes were delish, as was all the fresh fruit. The same kitchen and staff also serve lunch and dinner, which I took advantage of several times. The menu changed daily and everything I had was excellent and I would order again. The hotel is just up a small hill from a very busy tourist area, Ambatoloaka, which has lots of restaurants, shopping and essentials like pharmacy and ATM. It's a happening area. I'd recommend a lamp or flashlight for the dark hill walk. I always felt safe walking there alone. "

"We would definitely recommend the Royal Beach Hotel if you're thinking of staying in Nosy Be. As well as being a lovely, clean and enjoyable place to stay, the staff were what made it for us. Everyone from the team on reception, the dinning staff to the gardeners, everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They all made sure we were well catered for. The staff also really showed up for us when our flights were cancelled. They went above and beyond to help us find alternative routes home and made sure to keep rooms for us in case our flights were cancelled again...which they were. Our only note would be, if you go for the All Inclusive package, confirm with the hotel that it includes everything you are expecting from the package. We decided against the All Inclusive on arrival and the hotel accommodated us and refunded that part of the bill. The hotel was great and there's lots to do around the area. Go for the experience and stay for the staff. Have a great time in Nosy Be. "

"Top notch food, customer service, facilities, and atmosphere. The food is delicious and rotates every meal. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are clean. Customer service is great and the staff do their best to accommodate. We had a 4 year old and a 9 month old and they put an extra bed in the room for us. I highly recommend the excursion to Nose Iranja, not only will you see a beautiful beach but you’ll also get a fantastic seafood lunch arranged by the hotel. Fabrice saved us as we were struggling to communicate with the staff in French. He checked on us regularly and helped us with special arrangements that we needed. The hotel offers several entertainment activities including aquatics, dancing, and fire show at night. Highly recommend this place especially for families."

"What can I say? WONDERFUL! Teresa and Pino have truly built a little paradise. We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days and everything was just perfect. Our flight was rescheduled and everyone was so kind to arrange a late-night transfer for us, give us the room early to rest, and even offer breakfast. The staff is simply amazing. The food was excellent — Teresa is an incredible cook — and Pino kept us company with many fascinating stories about the place and Madagascar itself. The bungalows are beautiful, equipped with everything essential, and we immediately felt at home. Direct access to the beach and the Lokobe forest behind, where we went on an excursion and saw boas and lemurs — everything was just perfect. In the afternoon, lemurs would come near our bungalow to keep us company — such a unique and magical experience. It was a true oasis of relaxation, exactly what we needed after 20 days on the mainland. We also bought their local Malagasy Rum — it’s something you will never forget, simply EXCELLENT ❤️. And during our stay, we were accompanied by 5 wonderful dogs, which made everything even more special! Finally, thanks to Teresa and her passion for scuba diving, we even got our diving certification! Trust her guidance — it’s a beautiful journey! Thank you again for everything!! 🌺"

"I have just spent 10 days in this great little hotel. I booked an ocean view room and the view from the room and balcony was superb. The room was spacious and well equipped with tv, kettle, sink,microwave,fridge and drinking water provided every day.The bathroom was also well appointed with toilet, washbasin and rain shower. The room was cleaned every day to a high standard and importantly, the airconditioning worked quietly and effectively. The room had a comfortable double bed and there was plenty of cupboard space. The hotel is absolutely centrally located to the bars and restaurants and next to the hotel is a short path leading directly onto the beach. It was possible at night to hear the very slight beat coming from nearby bars but the room appeared well soundproofed and certainly there was no problem in sleeping. The best thing about this hotel was without doubt the staff. They were all extremely friendly and helpful and always tried to help in whatever way possible. You were greeted each day more as a friend than a customer and any minor problems were quickly sorted. There is a pleasant dining area/terrace where you can eat or simply have a drink and watch the world go by. I would like some thicker seat cushions as the seats are not the most comfortable! If/when I return, I will certainly rebook this hotel."

"This was my first visit to the island resort. They were very welcoming from the start. Even though I didn’t speak the local language, they were very pleasant and polite. The accommodations were very nice and private. The food menu had many choices and appealed particularly to the French and Italian people. They only suggestion I would give is to have another menu to rotate into the mix. The beach was beautiful and very accessible to the hotel guests. The walk to the beach is super close. There was always a tuk-tuk driver available to take us to town and they were always friendly and accommodating. I do recommend this hotel but be prepared for the many short “normal” power outages that occur daily. "

"Good that it was an apt so u have kitchen but rooms need some updating. Great location on beach. Some English spoken by some staff but mostly like rest of Nosy Be not so if you dont speak french or English will be hard "
