"This was such a memorable birthday! From the enriching history of the property to the coziness of both inside and outside aspects of the home. Mom enjoyed the antique aspects and my boyfriend enjoyed the serenity of the lush trees - I enjoyed that it made me feel like I was in the Princess and the Frog. This was such a perfect spot filled with so many things that made it a good getaway. We enjoyed the gazebo and pond, and to our joy and surprise the little friends in the pond (alligators)!!!! This property was only and hour and a bit from New Orleans which made travel quick. 10/10 recommend and can't wait to go back!"

"A beautiful, lovingly restored cottage on the Bayou LaFourche and an unexpected treasure. Spotlessly clean and fully equipped with absolitely everything you could possibly need for a stay away from home, including toothpaste! Ms Rosa is the most gracious hostess and we loved our 10 days stay. Sick to death of hotels for these marathon business trips, a VRBO rental has proven to be a winner and we are relaxed, revived and invigorated rather than worn out and exhausted. Boiling hot non stop showers, the ability to cook our own meals and best of all, quiet privacy. I cannot recommend Ms Rosas cottage more highly. Thank you Ms Rosa!!!"
