"Beautiful little hotel - we ended up here unexpectedly as we had a misadventure on the ferry so it was a very last minute booking. On arrival they upgraded our room, which was very sweet. As it happens, this is the night we got engaged so I will always have wonderful memories of this place."

"I loved how clean the room was and modern looking. Having a balcony was wonderful. It’s approximately two blocks from the port which was quite convenient and in the old part of town. Located walking distance from the shops, restaurants, bus and taxi stop but enough distance to enjoy quiet nights. I came with my daughter and we had a wonderful stay. They cleaned the room daily and every two days provided clean towels. My only complaints are, staff are around until 4 pm, there’s no phone in the room nor a bathroom in the main lobby. I was able to leave my luggage while I waited for our boat to arrive and they allowed us to check in early. The stairs are a bit steep so if you have mobility issues this might be a concern. I would definitely return to this location. "

"Fantastic setting, with stunning sea views! The hotel had character, with good attention to detail, and mature well kept grounds with some beautiful planting. All the staff were great and couldn’t do enough for us. A particular shout out to Apostolia who organised our transfers, and car hire, friendly, helpful, and seemed to really enjoy her job. We also appreciated being able to dine at the Adrina resort and spa hotel next door, where the food was particularly good, and great value. Overall a hotel that I would have no hesitation in recommending to my friends. Thank you."

"This hotel has had some bad reviews well to be honest I really don't understand why. The hotel is clean, the views are great, the pool is clean and the breakfast is ok ( we had b&b not half board). Yes you need transport to get about however we walked into town on several occasions and didn't find the 30-40 min walk that bad and we're both in our early 60's, there's actually a free shuttle bus which runs 3 times a day into town and twice back from town. Would we stay here again yes most definitely in fact we're looking into booking for next year👍"

"What a Greek experience! This family-run, hotel is like stepping back into a more simple, regal time. This is a stay for those willing to slow down, immerse themselves in Greek culture and enjoy a more basic experience. If you enjoy character, personality and good people this is for you. The amenities are very simple but adequate. The hotel is a bit like a museum with beautiful antiques and architectural flourish. The rooms have balconies with sea views and AC. Sure the hot water only comes on during the time of day when people bathe, but it’s rustic. Don’t come to this hotel if you expect every convenience and luxury, come for the experience and the family. We were lucky to be there for Greek night, when musicians come for dinner and the old patriarch of the family sings and dances. The festivities lasted late into the night. A true Greek experience. The food was authentic Greek and delicious. There is poolside service for snacks and drinks. The hotel is run by two generations and everyone was warm and friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Step back in time, slow down and enjoy what is important in life, the experience, but, don’t come looking for Egyptian cotton bedding and day spa services. "

"The most amazing paradise. We stayed early August the hotel was full and still very quiet as so spaced out. We did Bed and breakfast - you could pay 30 euros for buffet style dinner which was amazing ( children 12 euros) the staff are truely magic and cannot do enough to help. There are no near by restaurants to just walk to from the hotel but they do have a free shuttle service which takes you to the local town at various times of the day. This may not be on the website but they have daily pilates, yoga, paddle boards, kayaks, tennis courts, a restaurant by the pool where the food is fantastic. We did a two centre holiday with the second part in skiathos which is better if you like some shopping! You can book all of this yourself online - no need to use a holiday company, we used seajets for the island transfer, and if you contact the hotel they will pick you up, very recommended "
