"We stayed in the Casita de madera for two months from January to March, i.e. during some of the coldest months of the year. The open fireplace contributes a lot to the cosiness factor but as a heating mechanism is not that efficient, so very glad there was also an electric radiator, which in the coldest weeks was struggling to keep us warm. But it is a very cozy house with everything you need, except an oven. It is dark, especially this time of the year, where the sun does not catch it at all...

"8 travellers (1 couple and 6 individuals) stayed overnight on our journey through the white hill towns of Spain. The 7 bedrooms were perfect for us. 6 had AC, and there were 3 full baths. 2 on the first floor where only one bedroom was located, so it was nice to have 3 showers. There was no view from the house but it was very close to the top/end of town where a great view of the reservoir was had. There was ample TP and hand towels, bath towels for our brief stay. "The apartment was as described. Best stocked rental yet. Owners were fabulous. Negatives: master bed very small, we split up and used the spare room. Wifi only worked for a little while. The keys supplied didn’t work, the owner lives next door and heard us and came to help."

It was definitely better to stay in Montejaque than directly in Ronda, which is busy mainly during weekends. There are a few bars and restaurants directly in the village, as well as groceries. The house is well equipped and spacious. It is an excellent base for exploring the Andalusian countryside, also for nature lovers and hikers. And take time and...

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Estate Finca Maridadi. Communication with the local manager was easy and prompt and the cottage itself was comfortable and super-clean. Rural setting surrounded by fields of poppies and olive trees, yet you're just 15 minutes outside of Ronda. Leaving some nibbles and beverages for our arrival was a nice touch. Highly recommended!"
