"The cabin was in a pretty location on the side of a small lake — but the location doesn't match that on VRBO which states it's in La Fortuna town. It's actually several miles out of town, which was a problem for us since we didn't have a rental car and there's no public transport serving the area. The owner offered us a lift into La Fortuna on our first day, but beyond that we had to keep booking Ubers which also were quite unreliable. The cabin was nice but could do with a bit of upkeep — there were a lot of ants/termites that appeared in our kitchen and a bad smell came up through the drain in the bathroom. It's also worth noting that despite the tranquil pictures the property is next to a busy road and you can hear the traffic throughout the night."

The decor of the hotel has been tastefully created everywhere - in the lobby, in the rooms… Each room is a separate cottage - with direct view of the Arenal volcano. Really enjoyed our stay. "

"From the second Luis picked us up at the airport we were in heaven. it truly was such a special special place. the food was amazing, the spa was a once in a life time experience with a hot tub overlooking the jungle followed by the most magical massage. We will definitely be back. All of the staff Luis and sol were so kind. Every server, everyone in the office, everyone at the spa. Just stunning. We went on a 3 mile hike to see all the wonderful waterfalls and took a swim in the pool over looking Costa Rica. We will most definitely be back. "

"Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was wonderful! The grounds were beautiful, we saw plenty of wildlife including toucans, lizards, and even a family of howler monkeys! The included breakfast was such a special treat every morning. At breakfast you have a view of the volcano, and the staff were so friendly and attentive. The room was comfortable and clean, and we really enjoyed our private patio with hot tub. All of the staff made sure we had what we needed and checked in with us via what’s app and always responded promptly, fantastic service! Would stay here again and recommend to friends and family. "
