"We couldn't recommend this place more. Everything was perfect! From the warm welcome of the attentive staff, who made us feel home during our stay - to our knowledgeable animal tracker Ben who went out of his way to find the big five during our 4 game drives. "The room was a little back room in the house.I feel the host host pleasant enough but I felt like I was in jail with the high walls and fencing. This is not what I expected for a property advertised on Expedia. I had read the other reviews, not sure if they were family of the host or were genuine but I can not agree with the good reviews I saw."

"Camdeboo Cottages are located in a very safe area, you can walk everywhere in Graaff-Reinet. The welcome was a bit cold but the service was good. However breakfast wasn't brilliant although the setting was, you're seated in the shade next to the pool in the inner courtyard. You can park right in front of your cottage. The room was great and clean but dated. It is a historic monument that's recently been refurbished."

"I fell in love with this funky guest house by the end of my 4-day stay. The owner has 6 cats who live in the courtyards and they will come visit with you throughout the day— this was literally the best part! The courtyards have fun statues/art all around and various braai spaces and a small pool. I will definitely be back!"
