We had a lot of fun by the fire and walking down to the river in the backyard. So many things to do in this area! Hiking, rafting, and dining in the nearby towns! Would definitely return!"

"The inside of the house was clean and very cozy! The kitchen was well equipped and the dart board in the basement was a fun touch! The outside of the cabin was well kept and secluded from neighbors. Steps away from the property was the nature preserve! We walked several of the trails and found a picnic table by the creek to stop and have lunch. The location of the cabin was perfect! "The house was a very cute ski cabin-y feeling vacation spot with a gorgeous view of the reservoir. Location was great- not too far from the center of Wilmington. And a drive through the mountains/National Forest away from the other cities/tourist areas near Bennington. It snowed while we were staying and the owners stayed on top of plowing so we could drive in and out - they weren't kidding about needing 4WD to get in and out in the winter. Overall, we'd come back in a heartbeat"

"The house is peaceful because it is set back from the road. The size is perfect for family or friends to share together. The kitchen was well appointed with everything needed to make meals together. But also close to small food shops and farmers stands. We were able to take several nice day trips in both VT & MA. The hosts were gracious & very responsive to any questions. "Our stay at this cottage was wonderful. The property was perfect size for us and we enjoyed golfing at Bas Ridge Golf Course, even though the weather was not the greatest that day. The hot tub was such a great amenity and we enjoyed the nice quiet location!"

"The cabin is very nice. It is in good shape. It is well decorated. It is very comfy, and it has everything you could possibly need. It is very close to the town of Wilmington, hiking trails, fishing, pond, lakes, and rivers. Sarah, the owner, was very responsive to any questions or needs. There’s a very nice eclectic restaurant in Wilmington that we really enjoyed called Jezebel. There is a high likelihood we would be coming back at some point in the future."

"Beautiful views from all the windows, quiet, private, clean and comfortable! Well worth a three day stay in October with all the leaves changing colors. Kayaks provided were so appreciated, allowing us to paddle around the whole lake and enjoy the colors and views even more. The downstairs bedroom and bathroom were ideal for my elderly mother. Great towns within easy drive, lots to explore!"
