The village is full of historic homes and buildings that are well-kept. There are stores and places to eat in the village, which is helpful because the overall location is rural. There is some traffic noise but it’s overall a quiet place. The stairwell is beautiful but steep. "

The property is in the Neighborhood of the Arts and it is within easy walking distance of an assortment of performing arts venues, several museums, fine and modest restaurants and bars. Our primary destination on this visit to Rochester was to attend a performance at the West Herr Auditorium Theatre which was just a few blocks from the apartment. "I was excited to stay here with my family, but pull up to a big muddy construction site, so there is no yard to play in like the picture shows, also understand that there is someone staying in the basement with a cat and a dog, and best of all was the man that came out of the downstairs apartment amd began talking to my 14 year old daughter and let her know he was house sitting. I contacted Orbitz because we will not be staying there, and they said the best they could do was to send the owner...
