"Lovely! The best word to describe the cottage and location. The parking area was very close and handy as roads are narrow in villages. Cottage had everything we needed and so comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay! Highly recommend!"

"A lovely property with a stunning view! All sorts of experiences from 30 minutes to 2 hours away. We enjoyed golf, Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Saint Andrews, Dunnottar Castle and more. Fully equipped kitchen made at home meals easy with grocery nearby. Outdoor fire pit was warm and welcoming at night. Gordon is a gracious and helpful host … the his “pet” pheasant very cool to see so close up! Highly recommend this rental to all."

The advert did not make it clear that the cottage is next to a road of fast flowing traffic, and that parking is next to the road, which is dangerous for getting a dog from the car to the cottage. There are no dog walks nearby. The inclusion of the hot tub drew us in, but we were not going to pay an extra £100 to use it. "A really lovely please to stay. Looked even better than the photos. Surrounded by calming fields and in a great location for visiting local loch and area.
