"Lovely location. Great gardens and swimming pool area. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The bar staff in particular couldn’t do enough to help you. Nice cliff top walk down to St Jean de Luz. All in all, we had a very pleasant two night stay here. Could have stayed longer!"

"Had a lovely short stay at Auberge Basque. We took a garden room which was very cute and well decorated. The only downside was it was next to the carpark and road which was noisy and you could only have natural air by opening the back doors - We didn't want to use the air con so at night the room was a bit hot. The 6 course tasting menu was fantastic with some very interesting flavour mixes!"

"We stayed three days and it was fine. The furnishings were basic. The property is very poorly equipped in that you need to provide your own washing up liquid, sponge, drying up towel, dishwasher tablets, loo cleaner, hand soap etc. . There is nothing to eat or drink provided by the owners - no welcome pack… first stop the supermarket. Bedding and towels are the minimum too and if I was going again, I would take my own towels. You have to pay a 500 euro deposit and clean up and remove the dirty...

"L'accueil a été très bien. Endroit chaleureux, avec vue comme promis sur les montagnes et la mer. Très bonne literie. Petit déjeuner excellent, tout est fait maison. Un petit bémol, la salle d'eau demande un peu plus d'intimité. (Un simple rideau pour séparer de la chambre) Endroit que lon recommande. Claudie et Alain "
