"This is a very lovely hotel in downtown Takayama. We were staying here for one night coming from Kusatsu. We had some issues with the GPS so were going to be late for dinner, we called them and they said they would hold dinner for us no issues. We had the Hida beef dinner which was fantastic. The breakfast the next morning was also fantastic. The room had a nice view of the river and we left the door open all night without any noise. Most of the town closes down at 6pm but opens back up at 8am. The beds were very uncomfortable so glad we only stayed one night. The staff was very friendly. They helped us pick out our yukatas and gave us beautiful tabi socks as a souvenir. "

Both me and my partner felt so pampered. The dinner and breakfast provided are delicious. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. "

Breakfast selection was good with complimentary welcome drinks and evening noodles. Onsen facilities were really relaxing and well maintained, overall a great stay experience with provisions for every possible need."
