"The facilities and setting are the best that I have experienced in Truro. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was very filling. I accidently left one of my shirts in the hotel room and the staff contacted me and handed it in at reception so I could collect later in the day. Top class service"

"Had a comfortable couple of nights whilst my boiler was out of action. Clean, well appointed single room with modern en-suite bathroom. Slept very well. A nice old traditional hotel, some areas are a little worn / dated, but I understand looking after a property of this size and age is no small undertaking. Everyone was friendly and professional, from reception to the bar and dining staff. I got a great rate, with breakfast included, really was excellent value. Thank you Queens hotel. "

"The room was ok for an overnight stay but any longer and it needs comfy seats, not just a bed, to sit on. The curtain had been pulled off the rail on one side, so did not close easily, but the bathroom was roomy and very clean! The staff are delightful - very professional and helpful... They clearly like dogs at The Godolphin and accommodate them with flair! We sometimes feel dogs are just tolerated, though not here.....!! The food was just ok.... (dare I say even disappointing) the single boule of ice-cream @ £3 was tiny and under-delivered - why not charge £5 and give 2 decent sized boules? Prudence was a "stand out" member of staff and a credit to you!"
