"Great little spot out in the woods. Views were just as pictured and hot tub cabin were both clean and tidy. Kitchen was stocked with basic necessities for cooking. Cabin was hard to find at night, but the directions provided were extremely helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely love to stay again. "

"Pros: Directions and accessibility were clear and simple. Bathrooms seemed recently updated and were very clean and well stocked. Clean, functional, covered hot tub. Huge, solid fire pit. Bench swing. Cozy and rustic furnishings. Adequate electronics and appliances. Plenty of kitchen accessories and had a large, deep sink. Easy walk down to the rivers edge. Cons: There were only a few sleeping pillows available, and they were very thin. Only two kitchen trash bags were provided for our 3 night stay, and they were extremely thin and low quality. They tore open just pulling them out of the can to take them outside. Bbq grill has some rusted out parts on the gas side. It was hard to adjust the flame and impossible to spread it out, but we made it work as we were just grilling a few brats. There was a large pile of fire logs available to burn, but they were wet and not seasoned. Fishing this time of year is not great due to the river being high and right at the steep brush covered banks. Maybe it is better in the summer when it might be lower?Cabin was great overall, we spent our Thanksgiving there! Drove up about 4 hours from the dfw area, and we would definitely consider booking it again. Thank you!"

"Our stay at the Midnight Cowboy was perfect for our family. A big plus was its 3 separate units with 1 bedroom in the main house. It was perfect for our adult kids and spouses. We had the pool heated for our November visit and it was perfect as well as the hot tub. There entire visit was great! "

"Courteous and efficient, friendly staff. The room was spotless, spacious and provided good rest and beds. The bathroom has been renovated and they provided plenty of towels. The only real problem was they have not rehung a curtain rod, so there is no place to hang your clothes. That needs to be fixed, but otherwise it was a great stay for an overnight. "
