It’s a really nice touch for the general manager to take an interest in you and also personally ensure you are enjoying your stay. The food is exceptional and everyone is so polite. "Overall a lovely stay. Staff were polite, helpful, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The hotel was welcoming and fely cosy. Reception, lobby, lounge, library, bar and restaurant were beautiful but the room we were in was a little tired decor wise. I do love the old features and understand it is an old building but some areas needed a little attention."
