Location excellent. Very peaceful. Would go again. Some things being replaced/needed repair (dishwasher, paddleboard, paddleboat) but communication with owners was excellent.

Also in my room I had no menu for room service it took until the second day to even be able to order room service my first day I just ended up asking for a cup of ice and a desert. Finally I get a menu and what I wanted was “out” so this trip BIG NO
My hometown. Glad to hear of an effort to establish a movie theater again. Used to be a drug store/soda fountain downtown. Would like to see them re-established.
Wonderful town and gorgeous part of the country
Only drawback is that it’s a long noisy walk into the center of town.
A beautiful village, with lots to do and see, lots of eating out options, and close to Lake Placid
Hotel is a considerable walk to/from Downtown Saranac Lake. vehicle transportation is necessary. downtown Saranac Lake is pretty congested with traffic most days...narrow streets. It was easier to drive into lake placid sometimes to get groceries.
