"We had an embarrassing moment. We had a toilet emergency and the toilet was not working. How the maid missed that when cleaning the room for check in? Check in was a bit slow too. Everything was clean, breakfast meets standards. Walking distance to Cupe beach. To go to Porto's town for shops and restaurants, you need a car or Uber. "

"Our room was really smelly, it smelled like sewage so badly that we had to change rooms (thankfully they accommodated us on that). There was construction on site which made it a noisy environment. The outside vicinity smells as well like swamp. We were disappointed because we were expecting more from the way the property was presented on Expedia. "
