"We received a friendly check-in greeting, even though it was late & there were a number of guests arriving at the same time. Our 1st floor room was warm and very clean. There were plenty of sconces for light, and all of the appliances were clean & ready to use."

Room #5 Captains Quarters could have used another chair (1 chair for 2 guests). Staff was very helpful. Cafe downstairs is convenient for a quick lunch and has beautiful views of lake. "

The amenities are just right and I like that I don't have to bring much! The South shore area of Superior is beautiful and not offers a calm and just the right kind of disconnect.
