Disney World 2 Miles! Family condo

Our large 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms condo is located on the first floor in building one at Windsor Hills Resort.

With over 1100 square feet of living space you will feel all the comforts of home, we offer everything you need for your perfect vacation.

The master bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom has a queen bed and a twin bed. All of the bedrooms in our condo have ceiling fans and TVs.

There is a screened in lanai where you can sit or walk out and enjoy the fresh air. The dining area comfortably accommodates 6 guests. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to prepare a light snack or a gourmet meal. All dishes, pans, utensils are there for your use. Of course there is a coffee maker (regular and Keurig), toaster, blender, microwave, stove, refrigerator, and dishwasher.

Pack light because there is also a full size washer and dryer in our condo.

The great room has two large sofas, ideal for watching TV, reading a book or just relaxing. There is a 40-inch SMART TV, with a DVD player. Plus, Free secure wireless internet and Free local and long distance calling.

Great stay! Wheelchair accessible

I have a daughter that uses a wheelchair so booking places is usually difficult. The condo was very accessible as we had space to move her around inside. The splash pad/pool area was very accommodating. The staff let us take her manual chair on the splash pad without a problem. Also the pool has a walkin area and we literally wheeled her in wheelchair and all. After making our reservation, we decided that we wanted to add an extra day. I messaged Rose and she was great with adding the day to our reservations.

Family Disney Stay

We had a great stay on our Disney trip. Amazing location 10 mins from the parks. Condo was great and the owner was great to work with. We love Windsor Hills and have stayed at several units there. All have been great.

Great Location

This is our third time staying in a condo at Windsor Hills Resort. Convenient to Disney and plenty of restaurants. Excellent communication with host, would recommended.

Close to everything

My favorite part of the stay was the "trash fairy" that comes to get your trash! What a great service. The condo was well stocked with everything we needed for our week long stay. It was located close to Universal and the Convention center which was were we spent most of our time. We enjoyed the arcade room and pool! Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Location is everything

When you have so many options for places to stay location is very important. Yes, the resort, room, pool and other offerings flare great but location is key. When it can take 30 minutes to go a couple miles. It’s nice to be in the middle and great location but feel like you are still able to get away from all the hussle with ease.

Okay for what we needed

Unit was great for a short stay for a work conference near by. Only bad thing is that every time we tried to go to the resort pool it was completely crowded. Tried going 2 different days and both times we had to give up. If you don’t get there at 6am, you will definitely not have a place to sit.

Great location and value

The location was perfect, just about 3 miles to Disney parks. There were just a couple of minor defects like missing blinds and two outlets not working in the kitchen. But, it was clean and well set up. Beds were comfortable and our family of four had plenty of space. The community itself is nice and we loved the pool(no deeper than 4ft though, loved the water slides and Splash pad area. Also, enjoyed the little market/grill located at the pool area. There was a game room, but we didn’t have time to check it out. We would stay here again.

Getting into the condo was a little difficult. We received two different codes. Instructions were not clear that we had to use both a key and the code. Also, no way to directly contact the owner. After about 25 minutes, we were able to get in. The rest of the stay was great!

Windsor Hills winter rental Jan-Apr 2024

Good property for a short family vacation. Not geared for a long term winter rental. Internet service was excellent. TV choices good. When we needed to contact our host she was quick to respond. Unit could use refreshing, again was adequate for short term but not for long term. Balcony blinds need replacing. Pool very crowded from early morning on with no enforcement of the resort rules about not saving seating. It was not adequate for capacity. Resort very convenient to shopping and entertainment. Excellent walking area which was important to us. Store on property a good addition. Well stocked, pleasant staff.

Clean, convenient and full of amenities!

Overall we had a great time. The condo was conveniently located on the first floor and close enough to the pool and the clubhouse; however, there was no view from the back screened porch except for grass, a wall and the air conditioning units. The lighting in the condo could be improved with table lamps, not gooseneck lights and the vertical blinds need to be replaced as the panels were falling off when opening or closing them. The bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size and everything was very clean. The beds were comfortable. There are excellent amenities, a large heated pool and water park, a game room with a theater, and a market/store for those forgotten items, food menu and ice cream. Very nearby are many restaurants and stores including a Super Walmart. We would definitely stay again.

Missing a few things

The condo was very clean and a great size for our family. There was a large gap where the vertical blinds were missing slats that made privacy on the first floor a concern. I reached out to the property owner right away after we arrived and I was told this was damage caused by previous guests at the condo. Upon arrival there was only one roll of toilet paper in the entire condo for our family of four. There were no dish clothes, face cloths, dishwasher soap, laundry detergent, garbage bags and just 4 towels to do us for 9 days. I did buy our own toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pucks and laundry detergent. I ended up buying 4 towels at Walmart as there is a pool on site and saved the four towels provided for us for showering. I messaged the property owner again the day before our final day with a few other questions, and to let them know that we still had not heard from anyone regarding dish clothes (in particular). Later that afternoon, on day 8 of our stay, someone arrived with dish clothes, dish soap and paper towels for us. Aside from the things mentioned above, it was a decent condo, a good place for a small family to have as a home base during a vacation. I do hope the property owner will consider upgrading the window covering before the next guests arrive. And I hope the small things, (that end up being bigger things, like toilet paper, dish cloths etc.) that were over looked to give you all the comforts of home, will be reviewed and corrected/considered.

Our stay at Windsor Hills condo This was a very nice place to stay convenient and reasonably priced we got to use the swimming pool and water park one day the other day it had rain and was not able to use it if we go back to the Kissimmee Orlando area this would be another place that we would consider only complaint I have is that we did not have wash cloths or dish towel and dish rags Spoke to the owner and she was very considerate said that that they must’ve forgot to leave them thank you

The best part of our trip!

After enduring a very chaotic vacation with many ups and downs Rosemarie’s condo was an absolute breath of fresh air to retreat to. It was perfectly clean, felt like home, and even though it poured rain our whole stay and we weren’t able to truly use the amenities of the property the housing alone was worth every penny. My family has already talked about making it an annual thing to come back and stay here, my teenage son even mentioned how he would love to live there, even if it meant sharing a room with his two sisters! We had a last minute snafoo and ended up needing to stay and extra night as well and Rosemarie bent over backwards to accommodate. My family of 5 truly enjoyed it here and we WILL be back again! Thank you Rosemarie!
