"Are warm and friendly welcome on arrival. Our room was large and had all the comforts we needed good selection of tea/coffee/hot chocolate and biscuits large bed lovely clean and soft towels. It’s a 15th century building with flipping floors low ceilings etc but that just added to the charm. We had a drink in the bar and it was clearly a pub used by the locals who made us feel welcome. We did dine in the restaurant on our first night and yet again the food and service was excellent. Breakfast the following morning was very good lots of choices and all arrived piping hot and with more friendly smiles. Overall a great choice would definitely stay again"

"Stay was lovely and convenient for our site work that week. Room was nice and staff friendly. Festive menu was on and I can recommend the Turkey dinner and beef dinner too they are fantastic."
