"I was surprised to see that it was a shared kitchen with one other guest. The bed wasn't comfortable, old mattresses. The place was clean, not quiet due to children playing all day outside. The owner also texted me that I had to check in by 19:30 which made it very difficult, but he eventually agreed to meet me at 20:00. Also, the owner insisted on taking a picture of my passport. This I found to be odd and suspect. Be careful."

"We enjoyed our stay! Our room was clean and relaxing. There were plenty of towels and a hairdryer. Very convenient for travelling into Milan by tram, although we walked everywhere (it doesn’t take long to reach the Duomo). A few good cafes nearby and a safe area. Friendly hosts too. Recommended, would stay again. Grazie!"

"Check in was smooth, rooms are gorgeous. Breakfast was disappointing. Plates of fruit ran low, lack of gluten-free options, meant paying full price for scrambled egg! Everything else about this hotel is spot on, loved the bar and the bar staff, great location."
