"This house is fantastic! Michael and Jeanie have done a wonderful job of keeping its historic charm, while also updating the main areas. The kids were intrigued by the "big box with a screen in it" (console TV/radio cabinet) and the laundry chute on the second floor.There was enough room (and then some) for our group of seven adults and four kids. The bedrooms and living room areas were spacious and inviting. The bathrooms were well-stocked with a generous supply of towels, washcloths, shampoo/conditioner, and other essentials. A fun surprise was the 2-in-1 second-floor bathroom (there's a tub/shower combo AND a separate shower)! Michael and Jeanie were excellent hosts - extremely welcoming of our big group (11). I appreciated the prompt, friendly communication, and the offer to let us check in a little bit early :-) They even provided some restaurant suggestions, history about the house, and gave us the inside scoop about the adorable toy store right across the street. (You should definitely check it out - so much nostalgia and a very friendly staff!) This is honestly one of the coolest houses I've ever stayed in, and we plan on staying there again next year!"

"Mold in bathroom. Floors dirty and door of bathroom broken. Staff were friendly. Very convenient to have Beookshire Bros. and Wal Mart walking distance. Local tenants seems very sketchy, "

"We had the most wonderful stay in this beautifully converted attic space! The moment we walked in, we were blown away by how thoughtfully and stylishly the attic had been transformed into a cozy getaway. Every detail felt intentional, and it instantly felt like our own private hideaway.The seclusion was perfect for us – quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, yet still easy to get to. We loved waking up to the treetop views and falling asleep to absolute stillness.Practical things mattered too: the shower was a dream! Fantastic water pressure and the hot water came almost instantly (a huge plus after a day at Kyle Field). The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen had everything one needs for simple meals, and the whole place was spotlessly clean.If you’re a couple looking for a unique escape that feels special without being fussy, this is it. We didn’t want to leave and are already talking about coming back. Highly, highly recommend!"

"Room was nicely clean. Had plenty of room. We usually just spend a couple of hours there but this is our second time and both times have been great. The only thing I would recommend is to have the ability to let the a/c run longer, ours kept cutting off and on. "

"The house is beautiful. It slept my whole family comfortably. We were there for my ring ceremony. We also had our family Thanksgiving while there. The kitchen is well stocked and had all the utensils we needed. Three coffee makers came in handy with our big group. The host was very responsive to our questions. She responded immediately. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels in each bathroom. The bathrooms had soap and shampoo and other miscellaneous items in case you forgot anything . There wasn’t a detail left out. Excellent house and very welcoming. Decorated beautifully for Christmas right now."
