Timpenspieker - Medieval house on the edge of the historic old town

Our Timpenspieker comes from the 17th Century and served as a storage and residential house for craftsmen over 300 years. In 1996, our previous owners - also craftsmen - acquired the building and renovated it from the ground up. We have made again careful modernization and are now happy about this historic, very cozy gem with excl. Fully equipped in the heart of Lüneburg.
'Timpen', the square with a beech hedge in front of the house with a small playground under old linden trees, and 'Speicher' were the basis for the naming of our gem, the 'Timpenspieker'. It is located directly on the edge of the historic old town of Lüneburg. From here you can stroll in just 5 minutes into the heart of the pedestrian zone - z. For breakfast in one of the cozy street cafes or in one of the museums or for swimming in the 'Salü'.


Trip to Hamburg: Hamburg can be reached by train via the Hanover-Hamburg expressway in just 30 minutes. The Lüneburg station is located on the other side of the old town and can be reached either on foot in about 20 minutes or by bus in 10 minutes.
By car it is also about 30 minutes via the good motorway connection directly into the city center of Hamburg.

Traumhaftes Lüneburg

Verlängertes Wochenende in Lüneburg, immer wieder schön. Traumhaftes Wetter und eine zentrale Unterkunft (Logis). Sehr hilfsbereite und freundliche Vermieterin. Empfehlenswert Ihr Angebot den eigenen Wagen auf einen gesicherten Parkplatz gegen ein Entgelt abzustellen. Das Ferienhaus liegt am Rande der Altstadt so dass man alles zu Fuß erreichen kann. In dem historischen und schön renovierten Reihenhaus ist alles für den täglichen Gebrauch vorhanden. Vorsicht steile Treppen.Wir kommen gerne wieder.Inge und Reiner aus Dülmen

Kurzurlaub in Lüneburg

Das Haus ist super süß und genauso wie beschrieben. Die zimmer ausreichend für 4 Person mit Hund (Labrador) die Treppen ist unser Hund nur 1x gelaufen da diese sehr steil sind. Es ist alles da, Spülmaschinentabs, Seife, genügend Gläser, Tasseb, Teller, Besteck. Es hat alles super Bei Frahen was die Vermieterin immer .Gerne wieser!errwichbar oder hfepasst

Klein aber fein

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt, da wir immer schnell aus der Stadt zur Wohnung zurück kommen konnten. Das war für unseren Urlaub mit zwei Babies besonders wichtig. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten und die Therme sind innerhalb von 10 Minuten Fußweg gut erreichbar. Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man für ein paar Tage verreisen benötigt. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet. Einziger nachteiliger Punkt für unseren Aufenthalt war die Hellhörigkeit im Haus, da das Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett unter dem Dach keine eigene Tür hat und man Gespräche aus der Wohnküche gut mithören konnte. Zudem klacken die Türen und die Spülung ist so zu hören, als wäre man direkt nebenan und nicht darüber. Ansonsten lauschig und schön eingerichtet. Die Kommunikation war einfach und verlässlich.

Klein aber gut

Gut gelegen am Rande der Altstadt, Auto braucht man nicht, alles ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Parkplatz nicht weit entfernt auf dem Grundstück der sehr freundlichen Vermieter.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit! Die Ferienwohnung im denkmalgeschützten Haus ist urig und toll eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Die Lage am Rande der Altstadt ist absolut ideal. Man ist in wenigen Minuten mittendrin. Ein großer Supermarkt ist ebenfalls nur ca. 250 m entfernt. Ein großer kostenloser Parkplatz in ca. 500m. Dieser ist allerdings tagsüber unter der Woche stark frequentiert.

Wunderschön

Ein süßes Haus, mit liebevoller Einrichtung. Sehr sauber, und alles da, was man braucht. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin war super nett. Eine ganz liebe Jeanette hat uns den Schlüssel gebrachte, und war jederzeit ansprechbar. Es sind fünf Minuten bis zur Albstadt. Abends kommten wir in dieser entzückenden ruhigen Straße vor der Haustür sitzen.

Kleinod in Lüneburg

Die Unterkunft war wie beschrieben, nur schöner. Wer den 5 Sterne Aufenthalt eines Hotels sucht, ist hier sicherlich an der falschen Stelle. Wer allerdings 5 Sterne Gastlichkeit sucht, ist hier genau am rechten Platz. Es ist schon ein besonderes Gefühl in hervorragend renovierter Umgebung, Teil der 400 jährigen Geschichte des Hauses zu werden. Die Lüneburger Altstadt ist in wenigen Augenblicken mit ihrer weit überdurchschnittlichen Gastronomie (Brauhäuser, Weinbar (0,75) - sehr zu empfehlen - , italienische Küche , Asiaten verschiedenster Coleur und, und und ...) zu erreichen. Im Vorfeld nahm die sehr freundliche Vermieterin eigeninitiativ Kontakt zu uns auf um eventuelle Fragen zu klären. Vor Ort wurden wir von der nicht weniger sympathischen Freundin der Vermieterin in die Feinheiten des Objektes eingeführt. Wir sagen einfach danke. Dirk und Anke Groß

Auf den Spuren der roten Rosen

In einem zauberhaften Reihenhaus, in unmittelbarer Nähe zu den Drehorten der Roten Rosen Serie haben wir eine sehr schöne Woche im Timpenspieker verbracht. Die Ferienwohnung ist gut ausgestattet und wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen.

Die Unterkunft war zauberhaft

Es war ein ganz märchenhafter Kurzurlaub. Lüneburg ist eine wunderschöne kleine Stadt. Und wirklich eine Weihnachtsstadt. Unsere Enkeltochter konnte den Weihnachtsmann die Hand schütteln. Was sind da noch für Wünsche offen? Die Stadt ist so zauberhaft geschmückt ....... das war perfekt. Aber auch sonst gibt es viel zu sehen. Wir werden sicher im Sommer wieder kommen.

Gut gelegene Unterkunft

Hat alles super geklappt, das Haus hat Treppen, da muss man drauf achten. Ansonsten sehr schöne Lage, Innenstadt ist fussläufig in 5 Minuten erreichbar.

Lage ist super

Bis auf 2 Tage, war es sehr ruhig in dem Haus. Für meine Eltern waren die Treppen ein Problem. Da sie auch die Treppe hoch gehen mussten um auf die Toillette zu gehen, war es für sie sehr anstrengend. Die Lage ist super, man ist sehr schnell in der Stadt bzw. Altstadt.

Einfach perfekt

Unsere 2 Enkel und wir haben uns in dem mittelalterlichen Haus sehr wohlgefühlt, der Spielplatz vor der Tür ist prima. Im Haus ist alles vorhanden, was den Urlaub angenehm macht. Sehr gut geeignet für den Stadturlaub, das Umland kann aber auch durch gute Anbindung an Bahn und Busse bequem erkundet werden.

Charmante Wohnung am Rande der historischen Altstadt gelegen

Die Ferienwohnung hat uns auf Anhieb gut gefallen. Wer den Charm alter Häuser mag wird sich hier sehr wohlfühlen. Trotz Mittelalter ist das kleine Haus modern und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es ist im Prinzip alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. Die Beschreibung in der Anzeige trifft es eigentlich genau!! Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und Check in und out waren unkompliziert. Klare Empfehlung von uns für einen Tripp ins schöne Lüneburg.
