"Positives: The 3 apartments are newly decorated so they are clean, fresh and stylish. Great position, quiet spot but quickly into town. Negatives: As a whole house, the appearance is only let down by the office like industrial stairs and the layout of the ground floor flat, requiring access to the courtyard rear via a bedroom.A huge disappointment was the 2 hosts turning up at the property during our stay to sort bins, something in the porch and requesting access to wash their hands. "The hotel was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. The restaurant had a lot of dogs, which isn’t too good in a restaurant. The breakfast cup was very stained, so I had to get it swapped, but the food was very nice, with a lot of choice. Staff were very friendly, and we had a good laugh with them. "

"This hotel is in an excellent position to the town. The staff were efficient and friendly and the breakfast was the best we've had in a hotel for a long time. Unfortunately the hotel is is need of an update. We had the first room (51) on the ground floor. This backed onto a courtyard outside the kitchen. It was noisy and there was a "hume" from some kind of machinery that kept kicking in. The heating was not on in the evening, despite it being only 2 degrees outside. For the sake of convenience, we would stay again."
