2 Bedroom, 1 Bath, Forest Cottage FREE ATV Trails

2 Bedroom, 1 bath cabin on 2 acres of land in the Osceola National Forest. Sleeps 4 with a king and 2 twin beds (can be setup w 4 twins instead). Unlimited wireless internet via satellite 42 inch flatscreen in living room. . Smart TV is set with Netflix, Prime and Hulu setup to stream movies.

Country cottage kitchen. Front and back porch. Deer and wild turkey visit each day.

It's very peaceful and quiet out here. I love it, particularly in the fall and winter. Summer brings lots of mosquitoes and is not the perfect time unless you plan on staying inside a lot, that's why I charge a little less then.

There's also bird seed here if you'd like to put it out for the birds, as well as corn for the deer and turkey. We frequently have the Piliated woodpecker in the yard as well as the occasional hawk and egret. Once in a while there will be rabbits, possum and raccoon.

And, if you are an early riser, the deer are in the yard pretty much everyday about 5am. And, the wild turkey. They visit daily.

If you want to ride your bike there’s lots of trails in the Osceola National Forest nearby that are ATV, UTV friendly.

Pets are welcome for a $10 per night extra fee, with a discount if staying 7 nights or longer. We provide a welcome kit for our furry guests that includes treats, toy and poop bags.

Fishing the old time way... There's several small lakes a five minute's drive away. You'll just have to bring your gear, dig worms or buy bait and head for the woods. We have a hoe waiting for you... :-)

Many people come for the ATVing, as the Osceola Forest has many marked ATV trails that are free to ride.

Located in the Osceola National Forest, East of Lake City, close to the Olustee Battlefield, 30 miles from Itcheetucknee River, the Santafee, and the Suwannee Rivers. Great for hiking, fishing and tubing the river. If you're wanting to go see the Jags play, it's about 50 miles away, the Gators are about 40, and we even have our own little speedway if you're into racing. Perhaps one of the most popular things to do here is ATVing. The miles and miles of free atv trails that wander through the forest all around all the cabins. There's also many geocaches hidden nearby.

For those working during their stay, the cottage is 11 miles from the Lake City VA Hospital, 12 from the Lake City Medical Center, 8 miles from Haeco Air Craft plant, and 12 miles from Walmart.

You have the whole house. My husband and I are gone most of the time as we travel out west in the summer to camp-host and spend a lot of the winter visiting.

It's wonderful out here as all the neighbors are retired, or work for the state. Secluded forest area.
