"Turquoise House is extremely nice and comfortable; located in a very interesting neighbourhood away from the hubbub of the city centre (which is easily accessible via the excellent public transport system).
We enjoyed the variety and friendliness of Balat and Fenner as well as Fatih in general (especially Wednesday market). Istanbul is an immensely interesting city and Ozkan's notes are excellent.
The airport transfers that Ozhan organised worked well (including a 5am Sunday pickup).

"Was unable to establish communication with the host on the day of check-in, kept trying the next day, the host ghosted me for 8 hours while I waited. Ignore dozens of phone calls from me as well. Finally got connected thanks to VRBO support and host informed me that since I wasn't able to get into the property on the first day that they can just keep my money and rent it out to someone else if they want."
