"Living away from the area, we wanted a property that would allow us to bring our whole family together over Christmas, including 12 on Christmas day. Croxton House was the perfect location. Spacious but not overwhelming, a dining room big enough for what we needed, a location. That was rural but not too far from local amenities. "From the moment I checked in to the check out, I have nothing but praise for the staff at this hotel. Nice to actually have people who can engage, laugh and perform their duties professionally. Yes the room I had was maybe a bit tired, the hotel is ongoing refurbishing as we speak. The room was clean, functional and was more than adequate. Great location. Can't recommend highly enough. I look forward to returning in January. "
