Hidden fees increase the price
I selected this place because it looked great and the price was right, with a location close to the beach. What they don't say is there's a fee that gets added and it's nearly the cost of a full day of stay, so take that into consideration before choosing. Plus, the checkout time is 10am, which is unheard of. You'll get charged another hefty fee for late checkout.
It's spacious, there's great views, and a number of amenities offered including a grill, toaster, microwave and coffee maker. The pots and pans all look like they were bought from Goodwill. The fridge was condensing on the inside and a puddle from this condensation formed and dripped on to the floor. There's barely any cutlery and cooking utensils. There's count 'em two spoons and they're low quality. The remote for the tv is missing.
The owner of the place is Vacasa, and they are not local, they're a corporate entity. I told them about the problem with the fridge. Communication with the vacasa is via text, but they only thing they can do is contract with a local manager. In the end, no one came to fix it. Because of the disconnect, it just does not feel like a home, it feels like a stark, barely furnished box that's run for a corporation.
