"We had a very good time at Quinta da Fonte. The house is beautifully located and has a nice garden surrounding it. Our absolute favourite spot: the table below a huge old tree that allows you to sit outside even during the warmest hours of the day and have an amazing view over the village and out to the sea. What we would have loved to have: some sunchairs or hammock; a key to lock the bathroom; and to know in advance that the second bedroom is 'open' and you need to walk through it to get to...

"A very special stay 😊 From the elevator arrival, a spectacular view from the bridge to reception and on into the beautiful gardens and mesmerising view from our balcony, this is a unique and special place to stay. A few of the areas are showing signs of their age but everything is very clean and well tended. Eating in the garden restaurant be will hard to beat. The poolside was never crowded and nearby town offers plenty of evening choices plus ocean swimming not to be missed! 100% recommended...
