"This was a very pleasant stay in a great location, ideal for where we were travelling. I had read some iffy reviews but happy to report that we need not have worried. The room was clean, the shower had been recently upgraded and the breakfast was excellent with a variety of choice. "The room was clean, comfortable and warm - we stayed in November. The staff were considerate and helpful, they made us feel very welcome. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The bar and restaurant were tastefully decorated and the lighting and roaring woodburners made for a cosy experience. Will gladly sstay again when passing through the area. "
