"Wild Oryx was out of the way of other bubble camps which is what we wanted. We wanted quiet and no light pollution so that we could see the stars. Eid is the owner and very attentive. While planning I appreciated his quick and thorough responses. The camp is what is expected from a camp in the dessert. The food was good local food. The activities are great but pricey. The staff were very friendly. We were very happy with our stay. "

"We had a great one night stay. The checkin was easy. All the staff (front desk, concierge, restaurant) were so friendly and helpful. Everyone spoke English. Free, safe parking for our rental car. Dinner and breakfast were great, good options, great service, option to eat in the cave section which was cool. Our room was simple but comfortable. Note that they turn off the AC in November. It was warm when we got back to our room in the afternoon but if you open the windows it did cool down pretty fast and we slept comfortably. Edom is a 3 minute walk from the entrance to Petra. We were able to buy our Petra by night tickets at the front desk. We did Petra by day after we checked out and the hotel offers free, safe luggage storage which was a great service. Highly recommend Edom. Great, affordable option! "

Then a delicious dinner cooked perfectly in ground with all kinds of salads desserts and tender ribs and chicken ! Beautiful night sky’s after dinner and a restful sleep. Wonderful all around!!"
