The cabins are extremely spacious and built with old world charm and modern amenities. The food was all excellent. And the beach by the resort extremely private and groomed daily. Excellent place for a quiet retreat.

Fantastic stay - huge, very comfortable room, absolutely delightful. Really lovely gardens and amazing swimming pool, and great being on the back of lovely beach. All staff were fabulous and gave a very high level of service. Breakfast was excellent and all the meals we had in the restaurant there.
Was just a bit nervous of using the outside bathroom and shower at first, but it all added to the experience. Didnt experience the visiting creatures that I thought we might!
The hotel is beautiful the amenities not so much. Food was mediocre the coffee espresso machine in the room was broken . they charged me for every soda bottle I drank so for $300 a night they could do better. The pool area is stunning and so is the beach.
The room was beautiful, bed very comfortable - we loved the outdoor shower. Nhuan, on reception, was extremely helpful with suggestions of where to visit, places to eat and organising spa bookings for us. The rest of the staff were also very friendly and helpful. It felt like we had the resort to ourselves as we hardly saw any other guests. Perfect relaxing couple of days, thank you.
We recently stayed at the resort and experienced warm hospitality alongside several operational and maintenance issues that impacted the stay. Airport transfer and arrival were smooth, and restaurant and service staff were consistently friendly and attentive. We also appreciated in-room mosquito protection and thoughtful gluten-free options, including fresh gluten-free bread. However, several services were either unavailable or required strict advance booking, such as resort to city-shuttle transfers that could only be arranged one day ahead, limiting flexibility given the remote location. The accommodation had comfort and privacy issues, with a semi-open bathroom offering little protection from heat and insects and close proximity to neighboring suites causing noticeable sound transmission. Facilities felt poorly maintained, especially the gym, which had broken and unclean equipment, while shared amenities like beach chairs and kayaks also appeared neglected. Dining was below expectations, with inconsistent quality, small portions, and an underwhelming breakfast buffet. A serious incident occurred when an unaccompanied individual attempted to force entry into our suite while searching for his room, creating an unsafe situation. The turtle night experience was ultimately arranged independently outside the hotel, and communication was sometimes difficult due to limited English among staff. Overall, while staff were excellent, the stay was undermined by various issues.
The most peaceful and beautiful resort. Friendly staff, beautiful villa’s, spotless. Food - breakfast and dinner delicious. Cannot really find any fault

Beautiful location, friendly and helpful staff and great facilities. If you want to a peaceful retreat, this is for sure the place.
a beautiful resort between nature and the most beautiful swimming pool I have seen. the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. they take good care of you and make sure you are comfortable. the food is very tasty
Pleasant facilities. Comfortable beds. Good a/c & water pressure. Poor WiFi. Food & drinks good quality but small portions. Drinks are over filled with ice. Rubbish from beach collected each day and dumped at far end by tractor! Lovely staff.
My visit to Poulo Condor Boutique Hotel and Spa was one of the nicest holidays I have ever had. The setting of the bungalows - amidst lush green trees, flowers and abutting the ocean - was very special. The bungalows were lovely and comfortable, reflecting the colonial past yet very distinctly Vietnamese and with modern conveniences. The staff are very helpful; excellent food; and fabulous massages. Kayaks; bicycles; motor scooters; and more are available for free or very cheaply. Perfect for gentle water sports, hiking or and other nature activities or for simply staring at the ocean in a deck chair with a drink and book. Definitely value for money!
There are no lifeguards on duty, we were allowed to go out on the kayak during a storm and there was no due diligence done on their part to come look for us. Their response was simple the fact that we had signed a waiver, when according to regulations they needed at least two lifeguards on duty, but they didn’t even have one. They had a security personnel who was also in charge of keeping the area clean. We almost lost our lives here, and if not for the breaks in the storm, and the life jacket, we wouldn’t have survived our ordeal. A vacation turned into a nightmare, a pivotal point in our lives, to not trust resorts with our own safety. We were left to fight the storm and struggle ourselves to float and survive and make it back to shore. Our 40 minute struggle with the storm may not seem like a big deal, but given that there was a typhoon warning, you can make your own calculations.
Regardless the sheer negligence of the resort, and their response when we got back was to ask where is the other kayak? That’s just ridiculous. They claimed that we had signed a waiver and that will protect them from any law suit. The waiver is a generic waiver for injury:property loss and not against a storm that we were let to go out in. We made a police report and were asked to settle for a nights dinner and no charge for property loss as we were asked to stay in Con Dao for months to actually process a charge against them. Don’t book this is place if you’re looking to go out to the sea.
