L'église est agrandie et transformée en collégiale par Philippe le Bel (1309) En 1428, pendant la guerre de cent ans, l'église est détruite par les troupes anglaises de Salisbury (il ne reste que la tour carrée). 15 août 1443, le voeu de Dieppe. Devant la ville, le dauphin Louis (futur Louis XI), fils du roi Charles VII, implore à genou la Vierge de Cléry. "Overall the stay was fine, there were one or two minor things that one would not have expected from a 4 star hotel. There were only paper cups in the room - one would have expected at least plastic or preferably glass. Although there was tea and coffee there was no milk or even powdered milk."
