Chisseaux (Indre-et-Loire) Le Moulin-Fort, moulin fortifié du XVIe siècle. Il s'agit d'un moulin à eau auquel on a ajouté des éléments de défense : machicoulis, archères, tours... Il est situé sur île du Cher, à proximité de l'écluse à aiguilles de Chisseaux. Ce moulin appartenait à Diane de Poitiers. La transformation en manoir est récente. Sur la façade nord, on apperçoit, un très beau monogramme constitué de deux D enlacés avec deux plumes. C'est le monogramme de Diane de Poitiers. Il a été entièrement refait par le scuplteur Patrick Kalita de Civray-en-Touraine. Chisseaux (Indre-et-Loire) Le Moulin Fort, fortified mill of the sixteenth century. "We only stated a few hours as we needed a place to stay until the first train to Paris. It was very convenient to the station. The attendant was very helpful and even opened up the breakfast before officially opening to let us get some coffee. On the whole, my impression was that, while dated, it was quaint. The hotel was quiet and clean. Everything was very acceptable."
