Beautiful, modern duplex with terrace in the center of Budapest

If you like to combine old and new, if you prefer a central location with a peaceful, romantic atmosphere, we offer a very bright, beautiful duplex at 80 m2, in the heart of Budapest. The apartment was built in 2010, is located in the immediate vicinity of the historic Andrassy Avenue with the Opera, the octagon on the Grand Boulevard and the popular Franz Liszt Square with its unique ambience and its various bars and restaurants. The Szechenyi Bath, Europe's largest bath complex is also only a few metro stops. The apartment is located on Fußdistanz to Westbahnhof where other nearby towns can be reached quickly. The Szondi Apartment is ideal for those who want to explore Budapest seeking historic ambience with good transport connection and want to experience the hustle and café life in the city from the immediate vicinity.

The duplex apartment is located on the top floor of a beautifully renovated historic Wohnauses with elevator, and offers all the conveniences for ideally 2-4, max. but also for 6 persons. It is divided on two floors, with the upper floor also has a small terrace. The apartment is very well and comfortably furnished, with fridge, freezer, oven, induction plate, dishwasher, kettle, dishes, pots, washing machine, hairdryer, CD player, air conditioning, 3D LCD satellite TV, free Internet (WiFi)

Wonderful Stay

Lovely flat near transportation hubs. Easy access to everything. Grocery, pharmacy, and DM close by. Very clean and comfortable for the five of us. Great communication with host. We would love to stay here again.

Comfortable stay in lovely apartment

The apartment is very comfortable, clean, and easy to navigate. Excellent communication with the host, who has thoughtfully equipped the space with everything you may need during your stay. Good location in a quiet neighborhood near the train station. Most sights were easily walkable or accessed readily by nearby public transit.

Rooftop balcony a highlight

The apartment is beautiful, and we loved eating outside on the rooftop balcony and watching the sunset. It’s relatively close to the metro, tram, and train station too.

Lovely apartment

We were happy with the flat's cleanliness and the way Mária equipped it with all necessities, not to mention the wine and chocolate. Our communications were invariably smooth, and there were no problems to report. The neighborhood is safe and convenient for public transport and walkable grocery options. Thank you Mária! Great Property

We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. Communication with property manager was excellent and we had no issues finding or getting in. Best of Budapest

This comfortable apartment was a perfect 8-day home for our party (three 70+ friends of different genders). We liked having two toilets separate from the bath, and the kitchen was remarkably well equipped— even a teapot for Irish/Scottish oldies! But we didn’t cook much, as the neighbourhood offered wonderful restaurants and cafes, as well as convenient public transport options taking us anywhere we wanted to go. It’s a fabulous place to stay, with a charming, helpful hostess.

Great location and excellent host

This property was in a great location, close to all of the attractions, cafes and restaurants we wanted to visit. It was also very clean and well-maintained. The owner was responsive and helpful, and made sure that we had everything we needed for our stay. The property was located in a central location nearby Oktogon and Nyugati Station and walking distance to tram 4 and 6, which runs 24/7. Overall, we had a wonderful stay at this property. Excellent location, very central. Clean and tidy and well supplied for basic needs. Pensioners can travel free on public transport Shoes along the Danube is a touching reminder of the horrors of WW2 and the fate of Hungarian Jews etc at that time On the whole the Hungarians tend to speak English, are very friendly and helpful. Budapest Duplex

We had a lovely stay in this flat and the host was prompt in responding to our questions. Great location as it’s just a 10 minute walk to the Nyugati train station for international trains. FYI - the flat has 2 half baths and 1 bath w/ a tub & a vanity sink, so no full bath. Thanks.

Wonderful location to explore Budapest

Exactly as billed, with great communication from Maria. Loved the airy feel, comfortable bed and windows upstairs that opened. Incredibly well -equipped kitchen. And out the door, Pest was right there — Parliament, Jewish Quarter, the main shopping streets. (And we found the Bolt taxis wonderfully efficient, often arriving within 1-2 minutes.) We will be back the next time we visit Budapest. Matt and Kim.

Well equipped apartment in a great location

We were there for 5 nights and it was ideal for us. While we had a rental car, parking for which required a bit of planning on our part (and helpful information from our gracious host), we got around by public transport visiting this beautiful city, and we’e happy to crash in the comfortable beds at the end of each day. Although in an inner city suburb, the place was quiet and there was no trouble from neighbours. Cooking facilities were great with the special touches of oil and spices that made it feel homely. And a singing elephant on the bookcase that became legendary for our family including adult kids… Highly recommend this apartment.

Spring Break in Budapest

This apartment was perfect for a family of four. Two bathrooms were wonderful and having a functional kitchen was perfect. We found the location in the city to be excellent. Near two metro stations that we used quite a bit and one of the major train stations. Still within reasonable walking distance to Parliament and the Basilica. Would highly recommend for a mobile, active family who doesn't mind a bit of walking or stairs. Loved the Cosy Cafe across the street and also Indigo Indian a few blocks away. Great from start to finish!

The best kitchen ever

Of all the apartments we stayed in, this one had the best kitchen equipment ever. It would have been a pleasure to cook there, but we were too lazy and went out all the time. Which was easy because of the central location – short walks to good restaurants. Also only seven minutes by foot to the train station. As tram, metro, and bus stops are also close by, it was very easy to get to more remote attractions, too. The apartment was big, very nice for the three adults we were. As it's on the fourth floor, there is enough light coming in even though all windows give to the courtyard. Check-in/-out where smooth and perfectly described by Mária.
