"Amazing 3-day stay at Ranthari! Rezaul and the entire friendly, professional team made us feel welcome and taken care of. The rooms were modern, spacious and very clean. (It would be nice to have more hooks or a clothes line to dry out our swim gear). The food was fabulous, and we loved eating our meals outside under the palms at the beach. (We stayed at a nearby luxury resort after we left Ranthari and did not recieve the same level of service and care.) The Ukhulas tourist beach is long and walkable, with a beautiful, long reef an easy swim from the shore. "

The staff, including Abdula and Mohamed, were endlessly kind and attentive, always ready to help organize day trips or even excursions to nearby resort islands if you craved a cocktail or a change of scenery. My final night is something I’ll never forget. Feeling a little sad to be leaving, I was surprised and deeply touched when the staff arranged a private dinner for me at a little table set directly in front of the shimmering sea. It was the perfect farewell. If you’re looking for over-water villas and flashy luxury, this is not the place for you. But if what you seek is peace, cleanliness, simple but delicious meals, and truly outstanding service, Belmar Beach is a gem. I know I’ll be back.
